Disabled Friendly Rooms at the Summerhill Hotel, Paignton

Summerhill offers 3 disabled friendly bedrooms on the ground floor; as well as rooms that are accessible from a ground floor lift to help the less mobile to access many of the other bedrooms. These ground floor bedrooms are suitable for a less able person accompanied by an able bodied person.

Level access into the hotel from the drop off/pick up bays is 15-24 easy paces to the main door. Also located on the ground floor are the Lounge, Dining room and Bar, as well as a disabled friendly toilet.The front garden has a terrace accessible through a ramp with seating area and sea view.

Please note that we cannot allow electric wheelchairs and scooters into the hotel. This is mainly due to their size and accessibility around the hotel.

All car park areas surfaced with tarmacadam.

Room 21

Twin bedded room (3.00m x 4.10m, 2.28m ceiling height), en-suite (2.10m x 1.50m ) has a walk-in shower with foldable seat and grab rails and grab rails next to toilet.

This room is situated 40 easy paces from main entrance along an 850mm wide corridor.

Room 23

This room is larger than Room 21 and can be used as a Double or Twin bedded room (3.00m x 5.10m, 2.35m ceiling height), en-suite (3.00m x 1.50m) has a walk-in shower with foldable seat and grab rails, drop down rail next to toilet. This room is situated 40 easy paces from main entrance along an 850mm wide corridor.
